Welcome to Our Workshop

We're a small family workshop tucked away in the Stokes Croft area of Bristol, where we've been crafting crystal jewellery since 2012. What started as a weekend hobby at local craft fairs has grown into a full-time craft, but we've kept the same approach: every piece is made by hand, one at a time, in our studio.

We work primarily with sterling silver and ethically sourced crystals—amethyst from Uruguay, rose quartz from Madagascar, citrine from Brazil. Nothing is mass-produced. When you wear one of our pieces, you're wearing something that's been shaped, soldered, and polished by hand, often over several days.

How We Work

Our process starts with the stones. We source rough and tumbled crystals from suppliers we've worked with for years, many of whom visit mines directly and can tell us exactly where each stone comes from. Once we've selected a crystal, we build the piece around it—cutting, filing, and forming the silver to complement the stone's natural shape and colour.

Most of our work is done using traditional silversmithing techniques: sawing, soldering with a torch, and finishing with hand tools. We don't use moulds or casting. It's slower, but it means each piece has its own character. A pendant that takes three hours one week might take four the next, depending on the stone and the design.

Our Collections

We keep a rotating selection of ready-made pieces—rings, pendants, earrings—available in our workshop and at a few local shops around Bristol and Bath. These change depending on what stones we have in and what we're inspired to make. Common designs include simple bezel-set pendants, wire-wrapped rings, and delicate drop earrings.

Prices typically range from £28 for small stud earrings to £150 for more complex pendants with larger stones. Everything comes in a simple cotton pouch with a card explaining the stone and how to care for it.

Bespoke Commissions

About half our work these days is bespoke. People come to us with a stone they've inherited, a crystal they picked up on holiday, or just an idea for something specific. We'll sit down with you, talk through what you're looking for, and sketch out a few options. Once we agree on a design, we'll give you a quote and a realistic timeframe—usually four to six weeks, depending on complexity.

Bespoke pieces start around £85 for simple designs and go up depending on materials and time involved. We ask for a deposit to cover materials, then the balance when the piece is ready. We'll send photos as we go if you'd like to see progress.

Our workshop is open by appointment most weekdays and Saturday mornings. It's not a formal shop—just a working studio with a small display area where you can see finished pieces and works in progress. We're happy to show you how things are made, talk about stones, or just let you browse quietly.

We're on Stokes Croft, a few minutes' walk from the Gloucester Road shops. There's no parking directly outside, but there are a few pay-and-display spaces on nearby streets, and it's an easy bus ride from the city centre. Just drop us an email or ring ahead so we know you're coming.

A Bit About Us

The workshop is run by two of us—a couple who met at art college and ended up teaching ourselves silversmithing through evening classes and a lot of trial and error. We'd both been working other jobs but kept coming back to making things with our hands. Eventually we decided to give it a proper go.

These days it's just the two of us in the workshop, though our teenage daughter helps with packing and admin during school holidays. It's a quiet, slow kind of work, which suits us. We're not trying to scale up or open multiple locations—we just want to keep making things we're proud of, one piece at a time.
